- A global trading house reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that last week, the company managed to conclude a deal for US LLDPE Film C4 at $710/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis, which is $10/ton higher compared to the done deal two weeks ago. However, it does not mean that the price is on an uptrend as the deal concluded two weeks ago was for big volume. For HDPE Film of the same origin, the trader’s sell idea was at $710/ton with the same payment and delivery term last week. However, customers’ buy idea was around $10-30/ton lower.
- SSESSMENTS.COM was informed that the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer decided to reduce the offers for the week commencing April 20. Compared to a week earlier, the offers for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 decreased between IDR1,390,000-1,410,000/ton ($89-91/ton) and by IDR1,570,000/ton ($101/ton) respectively.
