- A Singapore-based trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest import offers in the Southeast Asia market. For US origin, LLDPE Film C4 cargoes sold at $730/ton on LC at sight, CIF Cambodia Main Port basis. Meanwhile, the trader is offering HDPE Film cargoes of the same origin at higher prices, captured at $840/ton with the same payment and delivery terms. As crude oil futures have crashed below $0 per barrel for the first time in history on April 20, most buyers anticipate greater falls in prices and cancel orders.
- Whereas in Indonesia, market sources revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading polyolefins producer in the country has announced a fresh price list for the week commencing April 27. As compared to the previous price list, the producer initiated a price reduction of between IDR90,000-100,000/ton ($6-6.4/ton) for HDPE Film and IDR400,000/ton ($25.6/ton) for LLDPE Film C4.
