- As stated to SSESSMENTS.COM, the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced a fresh price list for the week commencing March 30. As compared to the previous week, the producer initiated a price increase of IDR580,000/ton ($35.6/ton) for HDPE Film cargoes. While for LLDPE Film C4, the latest local offers from the producer emerged in the market at IDR450,000/ton ($27.6/ton) higher than the previous price list available last week.
- A Middle Eastern PE producer has announced April shipment offers to Thailand market. The latest offers for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 are available in the market at $750/ton and at $810/ton, respectively on LC at sight, CIF Thailand Main Port basis. Responding to the offer level, a local trader in Thailand decided to purchase some volume as the offer level is considered attractive. For HDPE Film, the trader managed to secure a deal at $20/ton lower than the initial offer level. As for LLDPE Film C4, transactions were concluded at $10/ton lower than the initial offer level. Demand-wise, the trader mentioned that Coronavirus fears still post a greater influence on the market sentiment.
