- Market sources in Indonesia revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced a fresh price list for week 17, April 20-24. As compared to the previous price list, the producer initiated a price reduction of IDR310,000/ton ($20/ton) for local PP Homo Raffia cargoes. The latest offers from the producer are available at IDR13,750,000/ton ($883/ton) on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT.
- Whereas in Vietnam, market talks have it that import PP Homo Raffia offers from a Thai producer hovers above $800/ton threshold, available at $850/ton on LC at sight, CIF Main Port basis. Looking ahead, market sources predict that PP prices will continue to move lower for the foreseeable future, estimating that it would not reach new lows of $650/ton.
