- An Indonesian trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that local PP Homo Raffia prices in the country have not broken below IDR13,000,000/ton-level ($833/ton). On the delivery front, the source has not heard any shipment issues from Jakarta since the vehicle has obtained the government’s permission to cross the intercity. However, market talks have it that the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer is prioritizing deliveries for the customers that have settled the payment. While for customers that used credit terms, the delivery is postponed as the producer need to maintain healthy cash flow.
- From the producer’s end, the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced the fresh offers for the week commencing April 27. As compared to last week’s level, SSESSMENTS.COM noted that the producer decided to reduce the offers for PP Homo Raffia by IDR270,000/ton ($17/ton).
