- A local trader in Indonesia informed SSESSMENTS.COM that in the local market, there is no offer for PP Homo Raffia at IDR12,200,000/ton-level ($807/ton) yet, citing that local producers in the country would not decrease the offers too much. However, the trader opined that PP Homo Raffia offers still have room to fall further due to the slow demand.
- Meanwhile, a local converter in Indonesia shared with SSESSMENTS.COM that three containers of PP cargoes of Vietnam origin will arrive at the company’s warehouse on May 8. As for the holiday, the converter stated that most of the company’s customers in Jakarta will start the holiday from next week until early June. However, at the converter’s end, no official announcement yet. More added, the converter opined that Custom Duty Borne by Government (BMDTP) facility will come out after Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
