A global trading house reported that the allocation for Indonesian PVC cargoes to China market has increased from the initial number. The trader told SSESSMENTS.COM that they did not offer any PVC cargoes this week after all allocations were sold out last week for Indonesia and Japan origin.
The trader has also informed that a total of 12,000 tons of PVC cargoes, an additional 4,000 tons from the initial allocation from leading Indonesian PVC producer are sold in China. The producer is focused on the export market because of the weak domestic demand. Speaking of the outlook, PVC price can easily go up by $40/ton for July supported by ethylene price, the trader stated to SSESSMENTS.COM.
