China’s Jiangyin Chengold Packaging Materials, a subsidiary company of Jiangyin Chengxing Group reportedly has halted production at its two PET lines. As reported to SSESSMENTS.COM, both PET lines already shut since last Thursday, April 23 due to technical issues. The producer notified that the technology that is used in the company's plants is an absolutely new one in the world, hence, it is rather hard to figure out how it works. Further added, the PET lines with each capacity of 600,000 tons/year will likely be restarted in May 2020.
