On April 22, Chinese traders reveal buyers’ bids for Japanese and US PE cargoes. As informed to SSESSMENTS.COM, initially, a customer submitted bids at $600/ton for US LLDPE Film C4 cargoes, but before receiving any confirmation from the supplier, the customer decided to lower the bids to $580/ton. However, the bids were rejected by the supplier. In the previous week, cargoes for import LLDPE Film C4 of US origins were sold between $680-720/ton. All on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis.
As for Japanese HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes, a significant gap was recorded between buyers’ bids and the initial offer levels. As revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM, buyers submitted bids at $50/ton lower than the initial offer levels for both HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes. At the time of publication, no deals concluded yet.
