A source from Pakistan’s Engro Polymer & Chemicals Ltd reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the company has brought its 195,000 tons/year PVC plant off-stream due to the Coronavirus lockdown. Additionally, the producer is forced to delay the expansion project at its PVC plant. Initially, the producer has planned to commence the expansion project at its PVC plant to add another 100,000 tons/year. However, due to the lockdown, the schedule will be decided later on. Further added, there are no sales on the company’s end amid lockdown since the government only allows the movement of essential goods.
