Market sources reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that an explosion occurred at Inner Mongolia Sanlian Chemical on Monday morning, October 28. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but the blast has impacted the producer’s acetylene-based PVC plant located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China with a total capacity of 400,000 tons/year. In addition, market talks have it that ten people were killed due to the explosion.
