Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis
A converter based in Indonesia revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that February shipment offers for US mLLDPE to the country surfaced with a significant adjustment. This week, the converter received import mLLDPE C8 offers from a US producer at $50/ton higher than January shipment level.
“The cargoes will be shipped from Singapore Port. As we have a valid BMDTP (Import Duty Borne by Government) document, the cargoes will not be imposed with custom duty. At this point in time, we are still considering the purchasing quantity,” the converter told SSESSMENTS.COM.
