NewsSSESSMENTS: Global Trading House Discloses Acceptable Level For Import PP Offers To Bangladesh

Author: SSESSMENTS

A global trading house disclosed to SSESSMENTS.COM the acceptable level for import PP offers to Bangladesh. Last week, the trader offered import Saudi PP Homo Raffia cargoes to Bangladesh market at $990/ton-level. However, the offers were deemed too high and no deals concluded. As such, the trader decided to skip offering Saudi cargoes to the Bangladesh market this week. Currently, the trader is only offering import PP Homo Raffia of Kuwait origin, available at $970-980/ton on LC at sight, CFR Chittagong Port. Yet, buyers’ bids remain lower than the initial level, some placed bids at $950-960/ton-level citing that offers above such a level are too high and unacceptable. To date, no deals concluded yet.

Further added to SSESSMENTS.COM, the trader heard that some buyers in Bangladesh managed to secure import Middle Eastern PP Homo Raffia cargoes at $960/ton with the same payment and delivery terms.
