As reported to SSESSMENTS.COM, import PVC offers from China to Malaysia move in line with local price trend but still deemed unworkable by buyers. As compared to mid-June, offers from second-largest China’s acetylene-based PVC producer to Malaysia market decreased by $20/ton in line with the price movement in China domestic market. The current offers from the producer are available at $810/ton on LC at sight, CIF Malaysia Main Port basis. According to the trader, the buyers’ response remains cold despite the price decrease citing the offers is still considered high.
