A Malaysian trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that import PVC offers from Thai and Chinese producer were adjusted down by the same amount. As reported, May shipment offers from the Thai PVC producer to Malaysia are available at $160/ton lower than the offers for April shipment after revision. While compared to its official offers for April shipment, the current level is $200/ton lower. The current offers stand at $640-645/ton on CIF Malaysia Main Port Basis or at $670/ton, DAP Malaysia Basis. All offers on LC at sight.
Similarly, a Chinese producer also adjusted down its May shipment offers for acetylene-based PVC cargoes to Malaysia by $160/ton from April shipment. Offer for acetylene-based PVC from the producer currently stands at $650/ton on LC at sight, CIF Malaysia Main Port basis. While offers for China’s top 2 acetylene-based PVC producers are available at $630/ton on the same payment and delivery term, however, the quantity is subject to reconfirmation.
