A producer source informed SSESSMENTS.COM that India’s ONGC Petro Additions Limited (OPAL) shuts one line of the company’s LLDPE/HDPE Swing unit. The sources stated that the producer has two lines for LLDPE/HDPE Swing unit with a capacity of 360,000 tons/year each. Currently, both lines are being used to produce LLDPE grades. However, at the beginning of the week, one of the lines was shut for maintenance purposes and is expected to resume production by the end of September.
