An Indonesia’s largest local trading house announced its PE and PP offers to market amid holiday week. Indonesia market is predicted to be very quiet this week amid the Eid-Al-Fitr holiday week. Only a few market players are back to work after the end of Ramadan celebration last weekend. The trading house announced its offers for PE and PP products this week, as informed to SSESSMENTS.COM. This week, most of the local and localized Southeast Asian PE prices are above IDR13,000,000/ton ($874/ton), except for LLDPE Film C4 that are available at IDR12,700,000/ton ($854/ton). Localized Malaysian LDPE Film is still being offered at IDR14,000,000/ton ($941/ton). All offers are on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT.
Speaking of PP cargoes, the offers for local and localized Southeast Asian PP Homopolymer grades are reportedly stable from last week’s levels. For import offers, market talks have it that offers for PP Homo Raffia from Vietnam are available above $900/ton-level.
