NewsSSESSMENTS: Indonesia’s Largest Local Trading House Submits Bid For Malaysian PE Cargoes, Few Hundreds Lower Than Initial Offer Level

Author: SSESSMENTS

As reported by SSESSMENTS.COM, the largest local trading house in Indonesia submitted a bid for Malaysian PE cargoes at few hundreds lower than initial offer level. This week, a Malaysian PE producer is offering HDPE Film and LDPE Film cargoes to the Indonesia market at $880/ton and $980/ton respectively. However, most customers are not willing to take the cargoes as the offer level are deemed too high. Considering the current market situation, the trading house submitted bids between $500-600/ton, or few hundreds lower than the initial offer levels. However, the producer rejected the bid as it is considered too low. All offers are on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis.
