Indonesia’s Lotte Titan Nusantara informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company has shut LLDPE and HDPE plants since the end of last week. The unplanned shutdown occurred at the producer’s LLDPE line No. 3 with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year and HDPE plant with a capacity of 125,000 tons/year.
In the HDPE plant, the producer produces HDPE Film and HDPE Blow Moulding. The impact of the shutdown towards supply is minimal as the producer has some stocks in the warehouse. “We do not know when the plant will be able to restart,” the producer told SSESSMENTS.COM.
