A source from Indonesia’s Standard Toyo Polymer (STATOMER) informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company decided to slash the operating rate as demand for PVC in the domestic market sags due to the Coronavirus outbreak. As informed, the producer has cut the operating rate at its PVC plant by 20% since the end of last week, the week commencing April 6. Located in Banten Province, Indonesia, the PVC plant has a production capacity of 82,000 tons/year.
