A source with knowledge of the matter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that Iranian Jam Petrochemical Company will shut its olefins unit for two-week maintenance starting from May 6, 2020. The producer’s olefins unit can produce 1,320,000 tons/year of ethylene and 300,000 tons/year of propylene.
Furthermore, the producer informed that the shutdown at its olefins unit will not affect production activities at their HDPE and LLDPE plant with each capacity of 300,000 tons/year as the producer is having sufficient feedstock.
