Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF Philippines Main Port Basis
July shipment PE offers from a Malaysian polyolefins producer have surfaced in Philippines market, SSESSMENTS.COM was told. As reported by a Philippines converter, the Southeast Asian producers quoted firm prices for July shipment following the higher ethylene prices. July shipment offers for HDPE Film from a Malaysian polyolefins producer surfaced with an increment of $70/ton as compared to last month, currently available at $850/ton on LC at sight, CIF Philippines Main Port basis. Further added, a Thai PE producer claimed that they do not have any volume to offer for HDPE Film.
