A global trading house informed to SSESSMENTS.COM that July shipment PE and PP offers from a United Arab Emirates producer emerged with adjustment in China. As compared to June shipment, offers for HDPE Film increased by $110/ton, currently recorded at $870/ton. Meanwhile, HDPE Blow Moulding offered at $910/ton, no price comparison available. For LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4, the offers moved up by $90/ton and $60/ton compared to the same period, the latest offers stand at $910/ton and $880/ton, respectively. All offers are on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port Basis.
Similarly, offers for PP Homo Raffia surfaced with an increment of $90/ton, while PP Block Copolymer moved up by $100/ton also compared to June shipment. The trader opined that it seems the producer is having pressure in selling PP Block Copolymer, hence, the price gap between Copolymer and Homopolymer grade is narrowed this month. Further added to SSESSMENTS.COM, the allocation for HDPE Film have been sold out since supply shortage in China market persists owing to delay in shipment of Iranian PE cargoes.
