Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading Indian petrochemical producer has made adjustments on its local PE and PP prices. As reported, the producer decided to adjust up local offers by INR2,000/ton ($27/ton) for LLDPE grades and INR1,000/ton ($13/ton) for HDPE grades, except HDPE Pipe remained stable. Likewise, local offers for LDPE grades increased by INR2,000/ton ($27/ton), except LDPE Coating prices went up by INR3,000/ton ($40/ton). Meanwhile, local offers for PP grades remained unchanged. All with effect from May 21, 2020.
