Import PE offers on LC at sight, CIF Main Port basis
Description: *All for late August-September shipmentThe leading Indian petrochemical producer informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company has resumed offering LLDPE Film C4 to China market after an absence for some time. The current offers are available at $820-830/ton depending on the Melt Flow Index (MFI), the higher range is for MFI 2. To date, no deals concluded yet. The producer also expressing their intention to offer HDPE Yarn grade to Chinese buyers but have not found an agreement on the prices yet. Some buyers placed bids for HDPE Yarn at $870-880/ton but the producer could not accept, citing such a level is too low. The producer only managed to sell HDPE Yarn to the Vietnam market, with deals concluded at $890/ton after a tough negotiation. As compared to offers in early July, the producer’s offers for HDPE Yarn to Vietnam maintained stable. All offers on LC at sight, CIF Main Port basis.
