Market sources in Indonesia revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading PVC producer in the country has announced July delivery offers to the local market. As informed, offers for ethylene-based PVC from the producer surfaced with notable adjustment of $90/ton as compared to June shipment. The latest PVC offers are available between $860-900/ton on cash, FD Indonesia basis, and excluding VAT. According to the producer, the upsurge in PVC offers is triggered due to the stronger demand in the local market, as well as the maintenance shutdown at the PVC plant at one of the local producers.
