As contacted by SSESSMENT.COM, the leading Saudi polyolefins producer revealed the latest adjustment on export PE prices to China market. As compared to last week’s level, offers for HDPE Film, LDPE Film, and LLDPE Film C4 increased by $10/ton. Despite the price increment, the producer provides some room for negotiation. The producer’s sell idea for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 is between $20-30/ton lower from the initial offer levels. For LDPE Film, the deals were concluded at $40/ton lower than the initial offer level, at $870/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis.
Further added by the producer, in this H1 2020, demand for LDPE Film and LDPE Coating showed good performance as compared to the other PE grades. Due to Coronavirus, demand for medical suits was viable, led to striking demand for LDPE resins. While for the other PE grades, demand is just normal, SSESSMENT.COM was told.
