An Indonesian trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the local offers for certain PE grades in the country are hovering at a fresh threshold level. For this week, the offers for PE cargoes across all grades in the local market continue to increase. Especially for HDPE Film, the trader stated that the offers at above IDR13,000,000/ton-level are becoming more prominent in the market.
For the week commencing June 1, SSESSMENTS.COM’s noted that the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer applied an upward adjustment of IDR590,000/ton ($41/ton) for HDPE Film on the weekly comparison. Likewise, the Indonesian PE producer adjusted local offers for HDPE Film significantly. The latest price list from the producer surfaced at IDR1,100,000/ton ($76/ton) higher compared to the previous price list announced on May 11.
