Market sources in Malaysia informed SSESSMENTS.COM that a local producer has started announcing PE and PP price list for August deliveries. Compared to last month’s price list, the producer decided to adjust up offers across different PE grades between MYR60-220/ton ($14-52/ton), except for LLDPE Film C4 remains stable. For PP, offers surfaced with an upward adjustment of between MYR180-200/ton ($42-47/ton) as compared to the same period.
The producer’s offers on 30 days credit term, FD basis, excluding VAT, for a quantity of above 10 tons are as follows:
