Market sources in Malaysia informed SSESSMENTS.COM that a local producer has started announcing PE and PP price list for July deliveries. As compared to last month’s price list, the producer opted to apply an upward adjustment of between MYR200-380/ton ($47-89/ton) across PE grades, with the exception for LLDPE Film C4 no comparison recorded from the previous month. Likewise, PP offers across different grades increased between MYR280-320/ton ($65-75/ton) as compared to the same period.
The producer’s offers on 30 days credit term, FD basis, excluding VAT, for a quantity of above 10 tons are as follows:
