A source from India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company has resumed its PP plant on April 28, 2020. Currently, the producer’s PP plant with a capacity of 440,000 tons/year is running at 40% of the normal capacity. Located in Mangalore, Karnataka, the plant was previously shut on March 26 due to nationwide lockdown imposed by the Indian government amid the Coronavirus outbreak. Further added, all PP plants in India have resumed operations.
