As contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM, a Philippines PVC producer informed that currently, the company is facing delivery issues. The producer is unable to do the delivery because the trucking company in Metro Manila could not operate yet due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) status of the city. Public transportation is also not operating yet, hence, many of the producer’s employees could not go back to work.
The producer revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM a plan to announce fresh offers once the lockdown in Metro Manila is lifted on May 31. “We will announce new prices on June 1 and follow the international market trend,” the producer stated. The producer expects that by that time, transportation will run at least 50%.
