Comments by market players on PP Homo Raffia as follows:
“We purchased PP Homo Raffia from the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer at $800/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis,” a Chinese trader reported on March 24.
“We received offers for PP Homo Raffia from India at $830/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. The offers are too high,” a trader in China commented to SSESSMENTS.COM.
“PP Homo Raffia offers from a Saudi producer dropped between $30-50/ton compared to March shipment. No deals were concluded yet as we are still negotiating with the supplier,” another trader in China informed.
“A Malaysian producer has announced April shipment offers. The producer is firm on the offers. PP Homo Raffia offers from the producer stand at $940/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. Buyers have no interest to buy as the offers are too high,” the producer’s representative in Shanghai told SSESSMENTS.COM.
“Buyers placed bids at $760/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis for PP Homo Raffia cargoes from the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer. The bids were $40/ton lower than the initial offer level and rejected by the producer,” a local trader reported on March 25.
On the other hand, another Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM on March 26, “We managed to get PP Homo Raffia cargoes from the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer at $760/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis as the producer is having inventory pressure at the moment.”
“We adjusted down April shipment offers for PP Homo Raffia by $40/ton from March’s levels, but still faced difficulties in selling as buyers prefer to just monitor the market,” a South Korean producer stated.
“PP Homo Raffia cargoes of Vietnam origin are available at $840/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. The offers decreased by $40/ton compared to last week,” a Chinese trader informed.
“Earlier this week, we offered PP Homo Raffia to China at $820/ton, but on March 25, we slashed the offers by $40/ton,” an Indian petrochemical producer revealed.
“An Indian petrochemical producer decreased PP Homo Raffia offers within this week by $40/ton. A Middle Eastern producer also dropped April shipment offers for the grade by the same amount compared to March,” a trader in China commented to SSESSMENTS.COM.
