Comments by market players on LLDPE Film C4 market as follows:
“We offer a big volume of US LLDPE Film C4 between $830-850/ton on LC at sight, CIF Malaysia main port basis. Buyers are expecting PE prices to go down as ethylene prices have dropped,” a regional trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM.
“Offers for LLDPE Film C4 from Qatar increased by $35/ton compared to last week, standing at $900/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. The offers are for August shipment and the allocation is limited. The producer has no pressure to lower the offers although buyers could not accept the current level. The acceptable level for most buyers is at $860/ton with the same payment and delivery terms or $40/ton lower than the offer level,” an Indonesian trader informed.
“We maintained offers for LLDPE Film C4 of Thailand origin stable compared to two weeks ago,” a global trading house revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM.
“Offers for LLDPE Film C4 from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer remain stable compared to last week, at $910/ton, on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis,” a Vietnamese trader told SSESSMENTS.COM.
“We received August shipment offers from the leading Indian petrochemical producer for LLDPE Film C4 at $10/ton lower than last week, at $870/ton on LC at sight, CIF Malaysia main port basis. We are still considering at what level to bid,” a Malaysian converter commented.
“Offers for Middle Eastern LLDPE Film C4 cargoes are stable while for US origin, the offers increased between $10-20/ton from last week’s levels. We received offers for US LLDPE Film C4 cargoes between $870-890/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis,” a Vietnamese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM.
“August shipment offers from the leading Indian petrochemical producer for LLDPE Film C4 to Vietnam increased by $40/ton compared to last week,” another trader in Vietnam reported.
“August shipment offers from a Middle Eastern PE producer increased between $20-30/ton compared to last week. The increases were made due to limited supply stemming from producer’s backlogs,” market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM.
