A source with knowledge of the matter told SSESSMENTS.COM that Singapore’s TPSC Asia, formerly known as Total Petrochemicals SE Asia plans to halt production at PS plant in May 2020 for turnaround maintenance. However, the exact date of the shutdown could not be ascertained yet. The sources notified that the plant will remain off-line for around three weeks. Further added, the PS plant located in Jurong, Singapore can produce 100,000 tons/year of polystyrene.
