Taiwan’s state-owned refiner CPC intends to restart production at its ethylene cracker in Linyuan after maintenance, market sources told SSESSMENTS.COM. The 700,000 tons/year unit was put off-stream in mid-February for a two-month turnaround. CPC plans to resume production at the unit on April 13. The producer maintains full operating rates at its smaller cracker in the same site, which has a capacity of 385,000 tons/year.
