SSESSMENTS.COM was informed that a Thai PE producer has announced offers to China market for this week. On a weekly comparison, the producer’s PE offers across all grades showed a downward correction. Compared to offers on last Tuesday, April 14, the producer initiated a price cut of $120/ton, $60/ton and $20/ton for HDPE Film, HDPE Yarn and LDPE Film respectively. While for LLDPE Film C4, the offers were adjusted down by $5/ton compared to offers on Thursday, April 16.
As SSESSMENTS.COM noted, the producer managed to sell some volume of LLDPE Film C4 at the initial offer level, at $770/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. For HDPE grades and LDPE Film, no deals concluded yet.
