SSESSMENTS.COM noted that a Thai producer has announced June shipment offers for PE PP to Indonesia market and contrasting adjustment was captured for certain grades. In comparison to a month earlier, June shipment offers for both PP Homo Raffia and PP Homo Injection surfaced with a downward adjustment of $20/ton. For PP Block Copolymer, the offers were trimmed by $80/ton compared to the same period with deals concluded at the initial offer level. The producer added that for PP Homo Film, the offers stand at $900/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis, and there is no price comparison available.
Citing the satisfactory sales in the previous week at the promotional prices at $780/ton, the producer decided to increase the offers for new grade HDPE Film to $820/ton this week. In contrast, offers for the old grade HDPE Film, the offers captured at $830/ton, or $50/ton lower from last month. All offers on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis. Likewise, SSESSMENTS.COM was told that the offers for HDPE Blow Moulding also decreased by $70/ton from last month. To date, there is no deal recorded for HDPE Film and HDPE Blow Moulding.
The Indonesia market is rather quiet this week. The producer also opined to SSESSMENTS.COM that the market is expected to be quieter next week as most Indonesian market players will be away from their desks for Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
