Market sources give updates to SSESSMENTS.COM regarding Formosa Plastics’ PP plant after an explosion at its PP storage tank. As informed previously, Formosa Plastics experienced an accident last Friday (May 13) at the company’s factory located in Linyuan, Taiwan. The source stated that the operation of PP plant with a production capacity of 250,000 tons/year is running normally, no impact from the safety valve which detached on Friday.
