A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of April 14. Compared to the price list received on Monday, April 13, local offers for PE across all grades increased between CNY200-300/ton ($28-42/ton), except for HDPE Injection 2911 and 2911FS surfaced with an upward adjustment of CNY3,500/ton ($495/ton). Likewise, offers for local PP across all grades increased between CNY500-1,000/ton ($70-141/ton), except for PP Random Copolymer Injection and PP Homo Fiber maintain stable as compared to the same period.
