A Chinese trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of May 19. Compared to the price list received on Monday, May 18, local PE and PP prices moved in different directions. Local offers for PE grades generally remained unchanged, except for HDPE Cable decreased by CNY200/ton ($28/ton). Contrastingly, offers for LLDPE across all grades moved up between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton). For PP, offers for BOPP, PP Homo Fiber, and most grades of PP Homo Raffia increased between CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton) while offers for other PP grades maintained stable as compared to the same period.
