A Vietnamese converter shared with SSESSMENTS.COM on receiving August delivery PVC offers from a local producer. As informed, the converter received offers for ethylene-based PVC cargoes from the local producer at VND600,000/ton ($25.7) higher compared to last month. However, the converter side opined that the price is too high; hence, the converter is hesitant to purchase while also considering to reduce purchasing quantity to around a few hundred tons only. As revealed, the converter usually purchased around 1,000-2,000 tons of PVC resins from the producer.
