A Vietnam-based trader unveiled to SSESSMENTS.COM the latest import PE and PP offers to the country. As informed, PE offers across different grades surfaced with a notable adjustment as compared to the previous offers announced on May 19. The source revealed the latest HDPE Film offers from Saudi producer moved higher by $60/ton, now stands at $840/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis. Likewise, offers for LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from the same producer surfaced with an increment of $100/ton and $80/ton, respectively. However, the trader added that some customers voiced out buy ideas for HDPE Film cargoes at $20-40/ton lower than initial offers, while for LLDPE Film C4 cargoes at $20-50/ton lower than initial offers.
Meanwhile, for Thailand cargoes, the latest offers for HDPE Film and LDPE Film emerged at $20-30/ton higher, stands at $840/ton and $940/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis, respectively. As for PP, offers for PP Homo Raffia from another Saudi producer edged up by $10/ton, currently stand at $860/ton with the same payment and delivery term. All changes compared to offers on May 19, as SSESSMENTS.COM noted.
