A source with knowledge of the matter notified SSESSMENTS.COM that Indonesia’s Pertamina has halted production at its PP plant. As informed, the company’s PP plant with a production capacity of 45,000 tons/year was having an outage due to some issues at its Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) since last Friday, June 26. Located in Plaju, Palembang, South Sumatra, the PP plant will be shut for 12 days and is expected to resume production on July 8. The source added that due to the maintenance shutdown, the company will cut the allocation for contract customers for about 2,000 tons, and at the moment, no spot offers are available.
