Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that Malaysia's Pengerang Refining and Petrochemicals (PRefChem) would likely postpone the startup of its polymer units to the fourth quarter of 2020 from the initial deadline in August. PrefChem is a joint venture between Petronas and Saudi Aramco. It is able to produce up to 350,000 tons/year of LLDPE, 400,000 tons/year of HDPE, and 900,000 tons/year PP.
