A source from Thai Plastic and Chemicals, a subsidiary of SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd shared with SSESSMENTS.COM that the company has shut its PVC plant for maintenance work. The PVC plant with a production capacity of 530,000 tons/year has been shut since Friday, July 10. Located in Map Ta Phut, Rayong Province, Thailand, the PVC plant will remain off-line for one week.
