PlantsSSESSMENTS: Sinopec Moves Forward With Hainan Expansion Project

Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that state-owned company Sinopec is moving forward with an expansion project in Hainan Free Trade Zone, in South China. After the expansion, Sinopec can produce up to 1 million tons/year of refined products and ethylene from the complex. The sources said that Sinopec will set up three sets of equipment for oil refining, ten sets of equipment for chemical production, and supporting facilities in the project. The expansion is expected to propel growth and accelerate development in Hainan.
