Market players informed SSESSMENTS that Sinopec Qingdao Refinery and Chemical plans to shut its 220,000 tons/year PP Unit located in Qingdao, Shandong province, China. The shutdown is intended for maintenance purpose and scheduled to start in May. However, no information on how long the shutdown will take place, and the restart date was not revealed.
