StatsSSESSMENTS: PE February Import Stats - Reported by Thailand

Based on data from Thai Customs Department, the total imports of PE have declined by around 5.8k tons in February compared to January, at 37,083 tons.

The top 5 import origins of PE to Thailand in February were Saudi Arabia (6,979 tons), Malaysia (5,898 tons), Singapore (5,210 tons), Malaysia (5,028 tons) and United Arab Emirates (4,300 tons). The decrease in import volume of The United States PE in February was the highest compared to other origins, at about 2,900 tons compared to January.

For HDPE, the total import quantity has reduced by around 3,270 tons in February compared to the previous month, at around 11,393 tons. The top 5 import origins of HDPE to Thailand in February were the United States (2,419 tons), Singapore (1,655 tons), United Arab Emirates (1,381 tons), Saudi Arabia (1,331 tons) and Qatar (1,276 tons). 

For LDPE, the total import quantity has shrunk by around 3.2k tons in February compared to January, at 14,753 tons. The top 5 import origins of LDPE to Thailand in February were Malaysia (4,441 tons), Saudi Arabia (2,877 tons), Singapore (2,091 tons), United States (1,236 tons) and Qatar (765 tons).

Meanwhile, the import quantity for LLDPE has edged up by around 704 tons in February compared to the previous month, at around 10,937 tons. The top 5 import origins of LLDPE to Thailand were Saudi Arabia (2,772 tons), United Arab Emirates (2,511 tons), United States (2,243 tons), Singapore (1,465 tons), and Malaysia (411 tons).
