According to the statement made by the company, Enerjisa Enerji has allocated a resource of 370 million TL to the Taurus Region, apart from the additional investments to be made to re-energize the electricity grid damaged after the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes, which are described as the 'disaster of the century', and to meet the needs of the people of the region. It is foreseen that the said resource will increase to the level of approximately 1 billion liras in the next three months.
Murat Pınar, CEO of Enerjisa Energy, whose views are included in the statement, stated that they aim to support the recovery of the electricity network and the people of the region in the earthquake region, and used the following statements:
“For this, we are increasing our investments to 15 billion liras in 2023 by tripling our investments compared to the previous year. We will transfer most of this investment to the earthquake-affected Taurus region with grid modernization, technology and smart grid applications. While serving the Taurus region, we also provided significant employment. In order to invest in human resources in the region, new job areas will be created in the fields of not only accommodation aid, but also qualified technical training centers and new energy technologies.'
In the statement, it was noted that Enerjisa Enerji provided energy to the earthquake-affected areas with electricity problems in a short time, and that the company started its normal activities in four of the five cities affected by the earthquake after the problems caused by the earthquakes in a row.
In the provinces of Adana, Gaziantep, Kilis and Osmaniye, the energy supply was rearranged through electricity distribution networks and generators, and a transition to normal was achieved.
In Hatay, electricity was supplied to all critical points such as hospitals, airport, tent cities, base stations, street and street lighting.

According to the statement, 4,507 Enerjisa Enerji employees working in the Taurus region and their families were severely affected. 31 employees were rescued from the rubble, 69 employees lost their first-degree relatives, while the homes of 429 employees were destroyed or severely damaged.
Enerjisa Enerji, which has 15 employees who lost their lives in the region, continues to work in the field with a team of 3,147 people in total, consisting of employees from Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and other distribution regions.
In addition, eight of 12 Enerjisa Customer Service Centers and 27 of 34 Enerjisa Transaction Centers in the disaster area continue to serve in order to avoid disruption of customer service.
Everyone in the company, including Enerjisa Enerji management teams, Ayedaş and Başkent head office employees, continues their work.
